This success story focuses on how ShieldSquare (now Radware Bot Manager) was ranked as a leader by the Forrester Research and doubled its revenue which contributed to its acquisition by Radware

How Product Marketing Contributed to Radware Bot Manager's Growth

I joined ShieldSquare (now Radware Bot Manager) at the very start of their marketing journey as the first Product Marketer and stayed through to their acquisition by Radware in March 2019. During this time, I was tasked with developing strategies and carrying out plans for product launches, establishing thought leadership, handling analyst relations and sales enablement.

My time at Radware was marked by several significant achievements. I successfully launched two key products: API Security and Bot Manager for web and mobile applications, which contributed to doubling our revenue in the fiscal year 2019-20.

I also initiated 'The Big Bad Bot Problem' research project as part of our thought leadership efforts, which gained recognition in major media outlets like Forbes and BBC. I further led the execution of the 2018 - 2019 thought leadership campaign to establish ShieldSquare as a thought leader in the bot management space, resulting in ShieldSquare being ranked as a leader by Forrester Research and named a Cool Vendor by Gartner.

Additionally, I played a crucial role in expanding ShieldSquare's marketing footprint to international markets, particularly the US and Europe.

Reflecting on the Impact

Looking back at the journey with Radware Bot Manager, it was filled with milestones that were both challenging and rewarding. From being the first Product Marketer and experiencing the acquisition by Radware, to witnessing the tangible impact of our marketing efforts in establishing a strong market presence – it was a period of substantial professional growth and learning. The collaboration with a dedicated team and the ability to contribute significantly to the company's success stand out as invaluable experiences.

Manwendra was the first person to join Merkle Science's marketing team. He is entrepreneurial, an innovative thinker, and has a strong bias to action. He has good insight into B2B marketing and cybersecurity and was very quickly able to pick up the crypto AML industry and identify opportunities for growth. He has good strategic thinking, understands scale and was part of our journey as we grew 300%. I would highly recommend Manwendra for a leadership role in marketing
